Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements with variance analysis and budget vs. actual reporting
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements while maintaining accurate financial records
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes with journal entries and account reconciliations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows and process improvements
- Assist with audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting setting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (advanced functions), and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interactions
- Immediate availability to start within 1-2 weeks
