We're seeking a dynamic Accountant to join our New Orleans team immediately! As a key member of our finance department, you'll manage critical financial operations while supporting our clients' diverse accounting needs. This is a temporary position with potential for long-term growth in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Process payroll and tax filings
- Support audits and compliance reviews
- Implement accounting software solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong GAAP knowledge and analytical skills
- CPA or active CPA candidate preferred
- Ability to meet immediate start date
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
