As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health of our organization. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing complex financial reports, and assisting in the annual audit process. Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the budgeting process and provide variance analysis to management.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is strongly preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
