Responsibilities
- Process weekly and monthly payroll for all employees accurately and on time using ADP and QuickBooks.
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations.
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax returns.
- Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees in a professional and timely manner.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll records and timekeeping data to identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to update employee records and benefits information.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in payroll processing, accounting, or HR.
- Certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or CPP) is highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of federal and Texas state payroll tax laws.
- Proficiency in payroll software (ADP, Ceridian, Paychex) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to handle sensitive employee data.
