Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for 500+ employees on a bi-weekly basis.
- Ensure 100% accuracy in tax filings, garnishments, and benefit deductions.
- Provide exceptional support to employees regarding pay inquiries and tax documents (W-2s, W-4s).
- Analyze payroll data to identify trends and recommend process improvements to management.
- Stay updated on changing labor laws and ensure strict regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with the Finance and HR departments to resolve payroll discrepancies.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in payroll administration or a related finance role.
- Proficiency with major payroll platforms such as ADP, Workday, or Paychex.
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state payroll tax regulations (Minnesota specific experience preferred).
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Human Resources is required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive financial data.
