Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate loan applications, financial statements, and credit reports to determine creditworthiness and risk exposure.
- Develop and maintain credit scoring models and internal credit policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Prepare detailed credit memos and recommendations for the Credit Committee.
- Monitor existing accounts for early warning signs of delinquency and proactively manage risk.
- Collaborate with sales and underwriting teams to provide expert financial analysis.
- Conduct periodic reviews of customer credit limits and terms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of proven experience in credit analysis or commercial lending.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and financial modeling software.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
