Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust compliance programs aligned with FINRA, SEC, and Ohio state regulations
- Conduct risk assessments and internal audits to identify compliance vulnerabilities
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for staff on regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with legal and executive teams to navigate regulatory changes and policy updates
- Monitor industry trends and emerging regulations to proactively address compliance gaps
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior leadership and regulatory bodies
- Lead investigations into potential compliance violations and recommend corrective actions
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure third-party compliance standards are met
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or related field; Master's preferred
- 5+ years of compliance experience in financial services or regulated industries
- Deep knowledge of federal/state regulations (Dodd-Frank, AML, BSA, Ohio Revised Code)
- Professional certifications (CCEP, CAMS, CRCM) strongly preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and precision
- Proven ability to interpret complex regulations and implement practical solutions
- Strong communication skills for training stakeholders and presenting to leadership
- Experience with compliance management software (e.g., MetricStream, RSA Archer)
