As a Bank Teller, you will be the face of our bank, responsible for handling financial transactions and building lasting relationships with our valued customers.
Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of daily transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Provide superior customer service by answering inquiries and resolving account issues efficiently.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to recommend products that meet customer financial needs.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations.
- Assist in branch operations, such as opening new accounts and handling ATM servicing.
- Monitor cash drawers for discrepancies and ensure accurate balancing at the end of the shift.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail with the ability to handle large sums of money accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic proficiency with computer systems and POS equipment.
