Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately and efficiently handle daily customer transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Customer Engagement: Provide superior service to customers by answering inquiries regarding accounts, products, and services with patience and professionalism.
- Sales Support: Proactively identify cross-selling opportunities to promote our credit cards, investment products, and savings accounts to meet branch goals.
- Compliance & Security: Adhere strictly to all banking regulations, compliance policies, and internal security protocols to prevent fraud and errors.
- Branch Operations: Assist in maintaining the branch’s visual appearance and organization, and support the branch manager with daily operational tasks.
- Problem Resolution: Resolve customer issues efficiently and escalate complex matters to management while maintaining a calm demeanor.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or coursework in Finance or Business preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service, retail, or a financial services environment is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude with the ability to handle large sums of cash with 100% accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with core banking software (e.g., FIS, Jack Henry) is a plus.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays as required by branch schedule.
