Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, climate tech, quantum computing) to forecast 2026 market disruptions
- Develop multi-scenario strategic roadmaps for product development and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present futures intelligence to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Build proprietary trend-forecasting models using proprietary data platforms
- Advise on ethical frameworks for emerging technologies and societal impact
- Author annual 'Future State' reports distributed to Fortune 500 partners
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies or societal trends
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis software
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and board-level stakeholders
