Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning across tech, geopolitical, and socio-cultural domains to identify disruptive forces
- Develop scenario-planning models for 2026+ market landscapes and technological inflection points
- Design and implement innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term organizational vision
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product development and strategic planning
- Establish global networks of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Present strategic foresight findings to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists and drive continuous improvement in foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-oriented R&D
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex future scenarios into compelling narratives
- Experience with foresight tools like Delphi method, cross-impact matrices, and system dynamics modeling
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Strong network within global innovation ecosystems
