Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology, social, and economic trends to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026+
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuro interfaces)
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping future-facing products and services
- Present foresight insights to stakeholders via executive briefings and white papers
- Establish innovation partnerships with research institutions and government labs
- Maintain a horizon-scanning ecosystem of signals, sensors, and thought leaders
- Quantify future market potential and risk mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, CRISPR, renewable energy)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for complex concepts
- Certification in scenario planning or horizon scanning methodologies
- Published work in futurism journals or industry thought leadership platforms
- Experience with cross-cultural trend analysis and geopolitical forecasting
