Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data (AI, biotech, climate tech, etc.) to forecast 2026+ market disruptions and opportunities
- Develop multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with corporate vision and emerging tech trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling breakthrough solutions
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through compelling narratives and visualizations
- Establish foresight frameworks to identify blind spots and competitive threats
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing into development lifecycles
- Drive scenario planning for geopolitical, technological, and societal shifts
Qualifications
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, futures research, or tech foresight roles
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous transformation
- Strong command of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight projects or innovation roadmaps
