Responsibilities

- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate adaptation technologies
- Lead innovation sprints with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions in biotech, space tech, and sustainable systems
- Present strategic foresight insights to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Build and maintain an expert network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership reports on emerging paradigms in human-machine collaboration
- Oversee implementation of future-proofing strategies across 5+ business units
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record of successfully predicting market shifts (e.g., blockchain, generative AI adoption)
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, nanotech, synthetic biology)
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (white papers, TED talks, etc.)
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation teams in tech-forward organizations
