Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, climate tech, biotech, quantum computing) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 5-10 year strategic horizons
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable innovation pipelines
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership content
- Advise leadership on emerging technologies' ethical and commercial implications
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, scientists, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating trend analysis and scenario planning for 2020-2030 horizons
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, synthetic biology, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
