Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps with measurable impact on product development and business growth
- Lead cross-functional workshops using design thinking and scenario planning methodologies
- Produce actionable trend reports and competitive intelligence for executive decision-making
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of industry futurists, academic partners, and innovation labs
- Champion experimental projects with 5-10 year vision horizons
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in corporate strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products/services
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience leading global cross-cultural innovation initiatives
