Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption vectors
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives in quantum AI, biotech integration, and sustainable computing
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies through patent analysis and academic partnerships
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Build external innovation networks through venture scouting and academic collaborations
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies across product engineering teams
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring innovation ROI and market readiness
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within Fortune 500 or scale-up environments
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 disruptive products/services
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or synthetic biology
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in scenario planning and technology forecasting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
