Responsibilities
- Architect and roadmap 3-5 year technology innovation pipelines aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Secure $2M+ in annual R&D funding through compelling data-driven proposals
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and NASA for joint research initiatives
- Translate emerging tech trends into actionable product roadmaps
- Mentor junior engineers in future-focused development methodologies
- Present quarterly innovation briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation or R&D leadership with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record scaling breakthrough technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, or sustainable tech
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience securing $1M+ in government/private research grants
- Published author in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE Spectrum)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks
- Validated ability to lead high-stakes R&D projects with global impact
