Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and timely.
- Perform monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Process payroll entries and manage employee expense reports.
- Assist in audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
- Maintain and organize financial records and supporting documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) are essential.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting tight deadlines.
