Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow analyses.
- Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time using ADP or similar software.
- Assist with the preparation of annual tax returns and supporting documentation.
- Monitor and report on key financial metrics to management.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems for both digital and physical documents.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is mandatory.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros).
- Deep understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Experience with payroll processing and payroll tax filings.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
