Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly with high accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Process weekly or bi-weekly payroll and manage employee timekeeping records.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures and financial audits.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding account inquiries and financial status.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
