Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation.
- Ensure all financial documentation is organized and compliant with company policies.
- Monitor budgets and assist in financial forecasting.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
