Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial records.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial close processes.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to track expenses and manage budgets.
- Support the tax preparation process by gathering necessary documentation and schedules.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or Bookkeeping Certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
