Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare adjusting entries as necessary.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic financial records.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor invoices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Excel (Advanced functions required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
