Responsibilities
- Process customer deposits, withdrawals, and payments accurately and efficiently.
- Cash checks and handle currency with strict adherence to security protocols.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities for banking products and services.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints with patience and professionalism.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the teller line and lobby.
- Assist in balancing the cash drawer daily and reporting discrepancies.
- Perform routine clerical tasks such as opening new accounts and updating customer records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous cash handling or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to operate standard office and teller equipment (calculators, cash registers, PCs).
- Basic math skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
