Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll cycles semi-monthly using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings with 100% accuracy
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies within SLAs
- Advise HR on payroll policy updates and compliance requirements
- Lead year-end reconciliation and W-2 distribution processes
- Maintain confidential employee records and payroll documentation
- Collaborate with benefits team for 401(k) and HSA integrations
Qualifications
- 3+ years payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance
- ADP Workforce Now or equivalent payroll system certification
- Proficiency in Excel with VLOOKUP/Pivot Table expertise
- Familiarity with CA wage orders and local labor regulations
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
- Proven problem-solving with audit resolution experience
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error tolerance
- Strong written communication for policy documentation
