Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations and risk mitigation strategies for portfolio review
- Monitor existing credit portfolios for compliance with lending policies and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with commercial lending teams to structure optimal credit solutions
- Maintain accurate documentation of credit analysis in compliance with internal controls
- Stay current on industry regulations and economic factors affecting credit decisions
- Present complex financial findings to credit committees in clear, actionable formats
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of credit analysis or commercial lending experience
- Proficiency in financial modeling software (e.g., Excel, Moody's Analytics)
- Strong understanding of GAAP, credit risk assessment methodologies, and banking regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently with flexible scheduling requirements
- Preferred: CRCM or CMB certification
