Responsibilities
- Execute daily banking transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing, with 100% accuracy.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance client retention and satisfaction.
- Identify and cross-sell financial products such as savings accounts, loans, and credit cards to meet branch targets.
- Monitor and reconcile daily cash drawers and terminal transactions to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, balance transfers, and resolving technical issues at the teller line.
- Uphold strict security protocols and compliance standards regarding Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby environment for all visitors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; a degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Previous experience in cash handling or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to perform mental math rapidly and accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a focus on empathy and patience.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Proficiency in using computerized banking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
