Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accurate resource allocation.
- Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth variance analysis to explain financial discrepancies and recommend corrective actions to senior management.
- Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support capital budgeting, M&A analysis, and long-term strategic planning.
- Reporting: Create clear, concise, and visually compelling financial reports and dashboards for executive stakeholders using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Cost Control: Collaborate with department heads to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profit margins.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial processes adhere to GAAP standards and internal control protocols.
- Process Improvement: Streamline financial workflows and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; MBA or CFA/CMA preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or accounting.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VBA, Macros, Pivot Tables) and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is required.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights for non-finance stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a meticulous approach to data accuracy and reporting.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the energy sector or manufacturing is a plus.
