Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data to create accurate forecasts, budgets, and variance reports
- Prepare detailed financial models and scenario analyses for strategic initiatives
- Monitor KPIs and dashboard metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with program managers to ensure financial alignment with contractual obligations
- Develop ad-hoc financial analyses supporting leadership decision-making
- Ensure compliance with federal procurement regulations and accounting standards
- Present findings to stakeholders through clear visualizations and executive summaries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 2+ years of financial analysis experience (government contracting preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, complex formulas)
- Experience with financial reporting tools (SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and federal acquisition regulations (FAR)
- Certification (CFA, CPA, or FMVA) highly valued
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Clear communication skills with attention to detail
