Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and profit & loss statements.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual operating budget and track actuals against the forecast.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on cost centers and revenue streams to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand business drivers and provide recommendations for resource allocation.
- Present financial data and findings to senior management in a clear, concise, and visually compelling manner.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related area.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Macros) and experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable business insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to diverse audiences.
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
