Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Build and maintain complex financial models to project revenue, expenses, and profitability scenarios.
- Budget Management: Lead the annual budgeting process and manage rolling forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to explain differences between actual results and forecasts, providing actionable recommendations.
- Reporting: Prepare high-level monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current financial workflows and implement automated solutions to enhance productivity.
- Market Research: Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to support strategic planning and capital allocation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required; MBA or CPA is preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into clear, actionable business insights.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to accuracy and compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
