Responsibilities
- Develop complex financial models (DCF, LBO, M&A) for renewable energy infrastructure investments
- Analyze market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes to inform investment strategies
- Prepare detailed financial projections, sensitivity analyses, and risk assessments for executive presentations
- Collaborate with portfolio managers to evaluate new opportunities and existing portfolio performance
- Lead cross-functional teams in due diligence processes for $50M+ transactions
- Create compelling investor reports and dashboard visualizations using Power BI
- Mentor junior analysts and drive continuous improvement in financial reporting processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of financial modeling experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA, Power Query) and financial modeling software
- Deep understanding of renewable energy sector dynamics and ESG investing principles
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools
- Strong communication skills with ability to present complex concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- CFA Charterholder or CPA designation required
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
