Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability for future periods.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct in-depth variance analysis comparing actual results against budgets and forecasts to identify trends and root causes.
- Reporting: Prepare high-level monthly and quarterly reports for executive leadership, highlighting key financial metrics and strategic insights.
- Budget Management: Assist in the creation, monitoring, and management of the annual operating budget across multiple departments.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in financial processes and recommend actionable solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial reporting adheres to GAAP standards and internal company policies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or forecasting within a corporate environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and financial modeling software.
- Tools: Experience with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or SAP is a strong plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret large datasets and translate them into clear, actionable business intelligence.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
