Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis: Interpret complex data sets to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue growth.
- Prepare accurate financial reports: Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, variance analyses, and budget reports for executive review.
- Forecasting and Budgeting: Collaborate with department heads to create annual budgets and monitor ongoing spending against forecasted targets.
- Support Strategic Planning: Provide data-driven recommendations to support long-term business planning and capital allocation decisions.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in financial processes and propose solutions to streamline operations and enhance data accuracy.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all financial reporting adheres to GAAP standards and internal company policies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or accounting within the corporate sector.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Macros) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite) is highly desirable.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and communicate findings clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on clarity and precision.
- Professional Certifications: CFA, CPA, or CMA certification is a plus.
