Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support long-term strategic planning and budget preparation.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Reporting & Presentation: Prepare clear, executive-level financial reports and presentations for stakeholders to drive informed decision-making.
- Compliance & Auditing: Ensure all financial reporting adheres to GAAP standards and assist in internal and external audits.
- Process Improvement: Streamline financial processes and implement automation tools to increase efficiency and accuracy in data handling.
- Market Research: Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to provide insights on pricing strategies and profitability.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 3-5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, preferably within the financial services or corporate sector.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Analytical Ability: Strong ability to interpret financial data and communicate complex concepts to non-financial teams.
- Tools: Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI is a strong plus.
