Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for business optimization
- Prepare detailed financial models, forecasts, and variance reports for executive leadership
- Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and monitor performance against targets
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis projects to support strategic initiatives
- Streamline financial reporting processes using advanced Excel and ERP systems
- Present complex financial insights to stakeholders through clear visual dashboards and presentations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements for all financial documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in corporate or public accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Power Query) and financial modeling
- Strong understanding of GAAP, budgeting methodologies, and variance analysis techniques
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and financial reporting tools
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable recommendations
- Excellent communication skills with proven ability to present to executive audiences
- CMA, CPA, or CFA certification highly desirable
