Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data, trends, and metrics to forecast performance and support strategic planning
- Develop comprehensive financial models, budgets, and variance reports for executive leadership
- Collaborate with department heads to optimize resource allocation and cost management
- Prepare detailed presentations and dashboards translating complex financial insights
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support M&A activities and investment decisions
- Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and maintain accurate financial documentation
- Lead process improvements in financial reporting systems and workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in corporate or public accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex modeling, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and financial reporting software
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize large datasets into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
- Knowledge of Kansas business tax regulations and compliance requirements
