Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, market trends, and economic indicators to produce comprehensive financial models and forecasts
- Prepare detailed variance reports, budget analyses, and executive dashboards highlighting key performance metrics
- Collaborate with department heads to develop strategic financial plans and identify cost optimization opportunities
- Conduct in-depth due diligence for potential investments and M&A activities
- Present financial findings to executive leadership using compelling visualizations and narrative storytelling
- Monitor compliance with SOX regulations and internal financial controls
- Maintain and enhance financial databases using advanced Excel and SQL capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in corporate or investment environments
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VBA, financial modeling) and SQL
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial statement analysis
- Exceptional quantitative and qualitative problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record of translating complex data into executive-level insights
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to diverse stakeholders
