Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth financial analysis including variance analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to support strategic decision-making
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models for valuation, scenario planning, and capital allocation
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and executive dashboards for senior leadership
- Analyze market trends and industry benchmarks to identify growth opportunities and risks
- Collaborate with investment teams to evaluate portfolio performance and recommend adjustments
- Lead ad-hoc financial projects including M&A analysis, profitability studies, and process improvements
- Maintain compliance with SEC regulations and internal financial controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in financial services
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA, pivot tables, complex modeling)
- Strong SQL and data visualization skills (Tableau/Power BI)
- Demonstrated experience with financial modeling and valuation methodologies
- Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Series 7/63 or willingness to obtain upon hire
