Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, KPIs, and market trends to inform strategic business decisions
- Develop comprehensive financial models and forecasts for investment opportunities
- Prepare executive dashboards and presentations for quarterly board reviews
- Conduct variance analysis between projected and actual financial performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize budget allocation
- Support M&A due diligence through financial valuation and risk assessment
- Maintain compliance with SEC regulations and internal controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of financial analysis experience in tech or startup environments
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA, pivot tables, complex functions)
- Expertise in financial modeling and valuation methodologies (DCF, comparables)
- Strong SQL skills for financial data extraction and analysis
- CFA or CPA certification preferred
- Experience with FP&A software (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Insights)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex data
