This hybrid role (3 days in-office) supports 500+ employees across the Pacific Northwest with accurate, timely payroll processing and compliance management. Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (WA, OR, CA)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and 401(k) contributions with precision
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding payroll activities and new hire setup
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies monthly
- Generate payroll reports for leadership and external audits
- Stay current on FLSA, ACA, and local labor law changes
Qualifications
- 3+ years payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent platform expertise
- Deep knowledge of Washington state payroll tax regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
- Experience with garnishment processing (wage attachments)
