Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data, trends, and metrics to support strategic business decisions
- Prepare comprehensive financial models, forecasts, and variance reports
- Collaborate with department heads to develop departmental budgets and monitor performance
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis for operational improvements and cost optimization
- Present findings to executive leadership through clear visual dashboards and presentations
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
- Support M&A activities through due diligence and financial valuation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of financial analysis experience in corporate or public accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, complex formulas)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and financial reporting tools
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for presenting complex financial concepts
- CMA, CPA, or CFA designation preferred
- Knowledge of California-specific financial regulations a plus
