Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll for 15 employees
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and audit preparations
- Implement QuickBooks enhancements and process automation
- Support tax documentation and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro
- Associate's degree in Accounting or relevant certification (e.g., AIPB)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Ohio tax regulations
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
