Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles
- Generate financial statements and variance reports for clients
- Oversee tax compliance filings and documentation
- Implement digital bookkeeping systems for efficiency
- Collaborate with CPAs on audits and financial planning
- Train staff on financial software best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Proven track record with multi-client accounting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation a plus
