Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll for 15+ clients
- Generate monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets) with clear insights
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for all transactions
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for real-time financial tracking and reporting
- Collaborate with CPA firms during tax season and audits
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial workflows
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks certification
- Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent technical certification
- Expertise in multi-currency transactions and international client portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and financial software
- Proven track record of managing high-volume accounts (100+ transactions daily)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify discrepancies and trends
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing financial consultations
