Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Excel
- Process accounts payable/receivable and payroll bi-weekly
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions monthly
- Prepare financial statements and tax documentation
- Monitor cash flow and budget variances
- Communicate with clients regarding financial inquiries
- Ensure compliance with CA state tax regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience in California
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and CA tax codes
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environment
