Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks and accounting software
- Process accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports
- Assist with tax preparation and documentation for audits
- Monitor cash flow and provide financial analysis to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Collaborate with CPA firms and external financial partners
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing and tax compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a plus
