Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Excel
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and payroll processing
- Assist with tax documentation and compliance reporting
- Monitor cash flow and prepare budget variance analyses
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and tax seasons
- Implement efficient bookkeeping workflows for small businesses
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
- Strong data entry skills with 98%+ accuracy
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Professional certification (e.g., CB) preferred
