Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Manage bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
- Assist with year-end closing processes and tax documentation
- Collaborate with CFO on financial strategy and process improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Proven track record of managing full-cycle accounting operations
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Experience with financial reporting and reconciliation processes
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- CPA or equivalent certification a plus
